Automotive
Measure vehicle motion, deformation, and impact dynamics with precision.
TEMA is the leading motion analysis software on the market. Relied upon by engineers in various industries to give fast, accurate and repeatable contactless measurement data.

Manual measurements take time, and sensors do not always capture the full picture. TEMA software transforms images and video into precise, full-field measurement data.
Measure displacement, speed, acceleration, 3D motion, and material deformation with a single solution. Turn every frame into actionable engineering insight and understand what happened, why it happened, and what to do next.
TRUSTED BY INDUSTRY LEADERS
TEMA provides workflows, complete analysis, and proven results for the world's most demanding tests.
Validated workflows designed for applications such as crash testing, wind tunnel testing, flight testing, and structural validation. Start with a proven methodology instead of building your workflow from scratch.
Capture. Track. Analyze. Report. From calibration and image processing to tracking, analysis, visualization, and data export, TEMA provides everything needed in a single platform.
Trusted by leading organizations in automotive, aerospace, defense, research, and sports for decades. Standardize methodology across teams, sites, and projects while generating reliable, comparable results.
Automate repetitive analysis tasks and move from testing to actionable insights in less time. Reduce manual work, accelerate development cycles, and make decisions faster.

Measure vehicle motion, deformation, and impact dynamics with precision.
Measure flight, structural, and aerodynamic behavior in demanding test environments.
Gain detailed insight into ballistic events, impacts, and high-speed interactions.

The workflow within TEMA is simple and standardized:
Image Systems develops motion analysis software, TEMA and TrackEye, that lets engineers and researchers track objects in high-speed and standard video and images, and turn that footage into precise full-field motion data: position, velocity, acceleration, trajectory and deformation.
Anyone who needs to turn high-speed or standard video into precise motion data: position, velocity, acceleration, trajectory and deformation. Automatic high-accuracy tracking, built-in calibration and reusable templates replace manual, frame-by-frame work, so you get from test to decision-making faster.
Validated workflows for crash, wind tunnel, flight and structural testing give you a standardized methodology and comparable results across teams, sites and projects. That methodology has been trusted for decades by leading organizations in automotive, aerospace, defense, research and sports.
We offer solutions in two motion analysis platforms. TEMA turns high-speed and standard video into precise motion and deformation data through validated workflows for crash, wind tunnel, flight and structural testing. TrackEye is built for specialized solutions, giving the user much greater in-app control via a graph-based user interface for advanced and customizable use cases. Both are based on the same tracking algorithms and advanced mathematics, but deliver different workflows and capabilities dependent on your needs.
Unsure of which to pick? Contact us and let's figure out what's best for your use-case.
Alongside the software, we deliver turn-key Digital Image Correlation (DIC) systems for full-field strain and deformation measurement, plus calibration services, so you can go from camera setup to validated results with one supplier.
The fastest way is to book a demo or contact us. Tell us about your application and we'll show you how TEMA or TrackEye fits your testing.
You can also email sales@imagesystems.se. With offices and distributors worldwide, we'll connect you with your nearest local contact and get the ball rolling.
The price is dependent on the package and features you want out of the software. Get in touch with us by booking a demo, and we'll together figure out what functionalities you need (and don't need) to solve your data acquisition problem.
Feel free to book a demo with information about your specific requirements, and our team will work with you to create a customized quote for your needs
TEMA and TrackEye are both developed with the express intention of being hardware agnostic. The gear you already have will still be of great use.
There are workflow upgrades however, such as our calibration wands and calibration boards to easily calibrate exact focal lengths, lens distortions and relative camera positions, or Coded Markers that increases tracking robustness and automation capabilities. But these are not essential to base functionality.
TEMA works with all commonly supported image sequences (sequences of similarly named .jpg, .png, .tiff images) and a wide variety of video formats and codecs (.MP4, .WMV, .AVI, .MKV, etc), even proprietary ones (such as Phantom .CINE, Photron .MRAW).
To get the proper time-scale between frames regardless of your camera TEMA intelligently gathers this from your video metadata or individual frame timestamps, but you can also override this setting and choose a regular interval of your choosing. There are no FPS caps, no resolution caps, and if you have a format that you'd like to see supported our support channels are always open!
When analysis is complete after tracking your footage, simply setup your desired information and visualizations in our presentation tools and diagrams.
Image diagrams can have data-points overlaid, such as the tracker locations, and this in turn can be exported as video-files with the overlays active. This is perfect for grabbing single frames of your footage or diagrams, or exporting and reviewing the entire sequences outside of the TEMA application.
Text diagrams and spreadsheets can be directly exported to .XLSX or .CSV, providing natural jump-off points for bringing your data elsewhere, for optional further analysis, sharing or bookkeeping outside of TEMA data formats. This exports per-timestep information from your test.
You can additionally export diagramdata from your test as a .JSON file for extended automation or visualization opportunities in a parseable, consistent format.
